LEAnews & Networks

LEAnews is posted twice during most weeks. While LEAnews is public, links within the news may be available only to members.

LEA's Networks are special interest groups that can help you become a more effective educator in your special interest and ministry area. All Networks are available to all LEA members.

  • Early Childhood Educators Network (ECEnet) For teachers and administrators in early childhood programs through grade 2.
  • Elementary Teachers Network (ETnet) For teachers of grades 3-8
  • Middle School Educators Network (MIDnet) For educators working in grades 6-8 (middle school or junior high)
  • Retired Lutheran Educators Network (EncourAGEnet) For retired church workers and those thinking of retirement. Free subscription to the Network available: register here.
  • Leadership Network (LEADnet) For administrators of Lutheran school and early childhood programs and centers.
  • Parish Educators Network (PEN) For those serving in education apart from school ministries as a part of their service to schools or independent of service to schools. Examples: DCEs, pastors, DCOs, deaconesses, teachers in additional service as youth workers, Sunday school leaders, VBS directors, etc.
  • Global Lutheran Educators (GLE) For those serving or interested in Lutheran schools around the world. Free subscription to the Network available: register here.
  • Secondary Educators Network (SECnet) For educators in all departments of Lutheran high schools.
  • Admissions Counselors Network (ACnet) is a listserv affiliated with LEADnet for questions, answers, and discussion among those serving in admissions counselor capacities by whatever title. Click here to register.
  • Athletic Ministries Director (AMD) is a listserv affiliated with LEADnet for questions, answers, and discussion among those serving in athletic directors capacities. Click here to register.
