Procedures
1.
Chair network meetings
2.
Create agenda and establish meeting details for meetings; create other plans as necessary. Communicate same with LEA office.
Review minutes and previous agenda.
Create new agenda in consultation with LEA staff.
3.
Represent network at Network Coordinating Council (NCC) meetings
Make travel arrangements four to six weeks prior to meeting.
Review recent NCC Proceedings.
4.
Act as primary spokesperson for the network
Initiate opportunities or respond to invitations to represent the Network through phone calls, attendance at events, or exploratory meetings.
5.
Challenge Leadership Team in finding new ways to serve members.
Review annually membership services with Leadership Team.
6.
Raise-up issues affecting network constituency.
7.
Coordinate the scheduling of projects, publications, and events within the Leadership Team and with the NCC.
Create and distribute a calendar or an approved timeline annually from July to July.
Dialog with other Network Chairs regarding potential collaboration on resources.
8.
Promote growth in membership.

Appoint planning committees for academies and other Network events.
Select LEA members to organize and implement academies and events.
Appoint the Professional Growth Coordinator to planning committees.
Stay within budgeted funds provided by LEA staff.
Resource Coordinator
Generate ideas and plan resources; communicate same to Director of Publications/Communications (DPC).
Obtain authors/creators for publications and other resources.
Brainstorm possibilities with Leadership Team.
Suggest website adjustments to DPC.
Regularly review Network information on the LEA website for monthly updates or additions.
Collaborate with other networks in long-term planning of resources.
Discuss potential collaboration at September meeting of all Network Leadership Teams.
Co-moderate and stimulate discussion on the network listserv.
With the help of other members of the Leadership Team, suggest Network tips to be communicated to participants via the Network listserv.
Professional Growth Coordinator
Attend and actively participate in planning committees for conferences and other training events.
Suggest potential topics and/or themes for Network events. Serve on the planning committee and attend planning sessions.
Articulate the goals of events with the LEAs mission statement.
Route all notes, minutes and communication for institutes or other growth projectss to LEA Staff and Leadership Team.
Provide a general proof reading and initial revisions for the committee.
Forward all publicity material and print publications to the Director of Publications & Communications for additional review and revision.
Communicate planning committee dates to LEA office.
When a District or group requests institute services, consult LEA staff to determine cost to the sponsors.
Contact LEA office to issue a contract to the group requesting services.
