LEA Awards for DCEs
LEA Master DCE
LEA's Master DCE award became an annual presentation beginning in 2005. General qualifications for the award appear below:

Strong commitment to serving the Lord
-
Active in local community as well as Lutheran community
-
Commitment to excellence and meeting the social, emotional, spiritual, and cognitive needs of congregation members or others served
-
Active Director of Christian Education with at least 15 years experience in a Lutheran congregation or agency
-
Outstanding leadership through program development, effective ministry, resource development, etc.
-
Active member of LEA and participant in DCEnet
LEA Outstanding New DCE
-
Strong commitment to serving the Lord
-
Active in local community as well as Lutheran community
-
Commitment to excellence and meeting the social, emotional, spiritual, and cognitive needs of congregation members or others served
-
Active Director of Christian Education with 3 or fewer years experience in a Lutheran congregation or agency
-
Outstanding leadership through program development, effective ministry, resource development, etc.
-
Active member of LEA and participant in DCEnet
