            Tenth Triennial Convocation

            March 24-26, 2011

            Cincinnati, Ohio

Jesus said, "I am the Road, also the Truth, also the Life. No one gets to the Father apart from me" (John 14:6 The Message).

I tell you for certain that everyone who hears my message and has faith in the one who sent me has eternal life and will never be condemned. They have already gone from death to life (John 5:24 Contemporary English Version).

But now, by giving himself completely at the cross, actually dying for you, Christ brought you over to God's side and put your lives together, whole and holy in his presence (Colossians 1:22 The Message).

Crossing Over is the theme for the only national gathering designed exclusively by and for educators in various Lutheran ministries.

This Convocation is expected to attract more than 3,000 teachers, administrators, pastors, DCEs, deaconesses, DCOs, and other church-work professionals. They will grow together through worship, keynote speakers, sectionals, exhibits, and fellowship.

Approximately 200 sectional slots will be filled based on proposals submitted by professionals in school and congregation educational ministries and other individuals or agencies able to present topics of interest to educators in Lutheran ministries.

Submit your proposal without delay. All proposals received by the deadline of December 1, 2009, will go through a juried process leading to selection and placement on the program. All individuals will be notified regarding the status of the proposal my March 1, 2010.
