LEA selection committees will give priority to nominees who are synodically trained, colloquized, or currently involved in the Colloquy program. Nominees from all countries are eligible. Each nominee also must

A worthy nominee is an active or retired individual who has made outstanding and significant contributions to Lutheran education at the local, regional, or national level in one or more of the following areas:
